Merchant Certification
DeluxeURL Certification is a review of site 'shoppability' and the �DeluxeURL certified� seal confirms that the merchant has a reasonable Internet store. The program is designed to validate online merchants and build consumer confidence in e-commerce.
"DeluxeURL Certified" merchants can display the program logo on their Web site. Consumers can click the program logo to view the specific certification criteria reviewed by DeluxeURL staff.
Each firm is evaluated and rated on eight baseline and six supplemental criteria. Particular criteria may include a review of customer service accessibility, secure server transaction system, and a clear statement of privacy and return policies, although criteria will vary from industry to industry.
To receive a Pass Plus certification the firm must meet the eight baseline criteria and a majority of the additional six criteria.
